PEOPLE & PARTNERS

'By searching on university and British Council websites, I have learned that various leading academic institutes in the United States recognise IELTS as a high standard examination and now accept the IELTS test for entrance to higher education. Personally, I chose to apply for the IELTS test through the British Council because I trust the state-of-the-art service and management system here. Besides, interviewers are native speakers who have strong experience in this field, while the scoring system is highly reliable.'

RECENT HIGHLIGHTS
British Council’s climate leaders starting off their projects
The This Is Environment (TIE) Project is one of the projects that has received seed-funding from the Climate Cool programme to run an activity which contributes to mitigation and/or adaptation of climate change. This project aims to educate school students about climate change and develop thinking skills through a creative educational theatre process i.e. acting, group discussion and puppetry production. The activities have already kicked off in two schools (Wat Mahathat Yuwaratrangsarit and Treetosathep schools in Bangkok) and have so far enjoyed very positive feedback from teachers and students alike.

The TIE Project will continue until the end of January.

Keep up to date with the progress of TIE on the Climate Cool page on Facebook or email them to project.tie@gmail.com
